Myofascial Release

John F. Barnes Trained

Safe and very effective Hands-On technique that uses gentle sustained pressure into myofascial connective tissue restrictions to decrease pain and restore motion.

Craniosacral Therapy

John Upledger Trained

Very gentle, Hands-On method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the craniosacral system, as well as a central nervous system to treat emotional as well as physical pain and dysfunction.

ABOUT ME

I'm a dedicated practitioner of manual therapy with focus on myofascial release and cranial sacral therapy. I started my therapy career in 2012 with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree then further training through John Barnes for Myofascial Release and John Upledger for Craniosacral Therapy.

From the time of my graduation I worked in a physical therapy clinic performing manual therapy to assist in healing and decrease pain. In 2018 I earned my Massage License and decided to go solo. I love empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing arts. As a Massage Therapist with the benefit of a Physical Therapist Assistant Degree and years in a therapy clinic, I have a more complete understanding of the body and disease processes which I use to help my patients.

I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between western medicine and the “alternatives,” while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal.

I have been seeing Heidi for close to a year for Myofascial massage for close to a year- & she is totally excellent! I have Degenerative Disc Disease in my lumbar spine, & must use a crutch to walk and stand. The pain in my lower back & shoulders is severe; & her massages really help my pain! Heidi has an amazing ability to immediately tell where my worst pain is by touching my back (this is due to her training, but is also a gift that she has). Heidi truly cares about her patients she always makes me feel at ease. I appreciate the fact she can come to my home - (especially in the winter when there is ice to fall on).
